Barrail’s hand-crafted pieces evoke the tradition of the Amazon as well as contemporary furniture design. His wooden furniture is sent to the Amazon, where it receives authentic burned tattoos from a secluded tribe. The tattoos represent the visual language and narrative of the tribe’s history.
