Now in its thirteenth year, the GQ Magazine Man of the Year Awards recognise the very best in British talent and achievement with politicians, actors, musicians, designers, and businessmen all handpicked by the elite panel of GQ editorial staff, contributing editors and top industry experts.
With his rise to success well documented, Nick Candy, together with his brother Christian, has spent the past decade building a business and a brand that represents the epitome of luxury in design and property. Candy & Candy was born out of a £6,000 loan from the brothers’ grandmother – today the company is one of the world’s leading interior design and development management firms, recognised internationally as a pioneer of bespoke and innovative design.
Nick Candy commented: “It is a real honour to receive this award and to be considered alongside such a high calibre of talented individuals and achievers. I am proud of the brand and business that we have worked hard to create over the years and believe that celebrating entrepreneurship in this way will help contribute to inspiring the next generation of British talent.”
